We’ve seen countless clones and other AI apps that claim to serve the same purpose to some extent. These applications have taken advantage of OpenAI’s absence and the growing demand for AI chatbots.

The App Store also hosted applications that encouraged users to take out a subscription in order to use AI information. ChatGPT’s success even outstripped Microsoft’s Bing and Edge applications, which integrated GPT-4.
