Rumor has it that a PC port of a AAA PlayStation game will be announced and released in July. At the last PlayStation Showcase, expectations regarding first-party game announcements were not met, but fans were hoping for at least some revelations of new PC ports.
According to a more or less reliable tipster on the resetERA forum by the name of The Snitch, who has a proven track record in the past, a PC port of a AAA PlayStation game is rumored for July. However, no details of the game in question have been divulged. These could include titles such as Ghost of Tsushima, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, or Horizon: Forbidden West.
First, @_Tom_Henderson_ was surprised that some of the games didn’t appear on the PlayStation showcase.
And now the snitch was also surprised that Sony didn’t show some of the announcement including a PC port two PlayStation exclusives.

Interestingly, The Snitch had also mentioned other announcements planned for the PlayStation Showcase, but which were ultimately not presented at the event.
Inside Gaming’s Tom Henderson also raised this possibility, suggesting that Sony would need a second presentation this year to unveil their future plans. Given that the PlayStation 5 console is selling well and there’s no longer a shortage, it makes sense for Sony to focus on games coming in the next few months, such as Final Fantasy XVI and Spider-Man 2, without revealing everything just yet.
Claims are emerging that PS5 games will arrive on PC at least 2-3 years later, while some games as announced at the last Showcase announce a release on both Sony’s console and PC such as Phantom Blade 0.

If the PC port of a AAA PlayStation game is indeed scheduled for July, we probably won’t have to wait too long for an official announcement. Which PlayStation-exclusive game would you like to see coming to PC soon?
